Coustom Pilots ID

Hello Guys,

With Voyager, we have launched our own virtual airline in 2022. Until now, we were using vaBase, but have now switched to vAMSYS. Everything is running great, but we have a question about the pilot ID.

 

I am currently VGR0002, but would like to use my old call sign again.

I have heard that only the admins can change the pilot ID.

 

Would it be possible for our staff to change the pilot ID?

That would be really great.

Unfortunately IDs are assigned by the system and we have no way to override them

The situation has not changed, we are unable to change pilot IDs.

There are no plans to enable this feature at any point in the future.

My flights, done online on IVAO, are not tracked by vAmsys...

Orwell told me that my "user ID is already assigned to another user".

Quite strange, cos' i'm VA owner and i set the ID for each pilot....

I'm MZA0002

This is a completely unrelated issue. You shouldn't be setting the IVAO ID of your pilots, they should be doing this themselves.

If you're getting a message that your IVAO ID is already in use, then that has nothing to do with vamsys pilot IDs. Either you have another user account with us and should merge your accounts, or someone else has used your IVAO ID by mistake.

That's too bad... I was interested in subscribing for our VA, but if there is no ability to simply change our PILOT ID's then it's a no-go. That shouldn't be a very hard thing to implement. Guess I'll check back occasionally to see if this has changed.

There are no plans to change this function at any point as it isn't as easy as you make out.
